LA DONNA CANNONE INTERNATIONAL is a BOARDING PASS PLUS 2023 funded project.
LA DONNA CANNONE INTERNATIONAL is an advanced training project aimed at contemporary circus creation and internationalization of young female artists careers.
It’s the international evolution of the Special Project LA DONNA CANNONE 2023 which selected 10 contemporary circus artists, under-35 women living in Italy, providing them a high-level training path with international trainers in order to enhance and nourish their capacities, qualities and artistic and cultural background, boosting the creative process.
At the same time, the project aims to internationalise their careers through actions developed by the foreign partners, structures of the international cultural system of contemporary circus on which the project can rely thanks to the network build over time by Company Nando and Maila.
The project encourages the exchange of good practices between the selected young artists and the communities joined by the project, thanks to shared training moments and work-in-progress performances open to the public.
